The Young Offenders TV Series Kicks Off!

Vico Films is delighted to announce that The Young Offenders TV Series has begun filming in Cork. The Series will shoot for 8 weeks and is written and directed by Peter Foott.

Zebbie Nomination for Peter Foott

Big congratulations to Peter Foott for his Zebbie nomination for The Young Offenders!
Peter is nominated for Best Feature Script, alongside Emma Donoghue for Room and Darren and Colin Thornton for A Date For Mad Mary

The Young Offenders Commissioned for Six-Part Series

Peter Foott writes, directs and executive produces the series based on his original hit comedy of the same title, which has been commissioned by BBC Three and BBC Comedy in association with RTÉ, and with Irish production company Vico Films still also on board. Martina Niland, known for ‘Once’ and ‘Sing Street’ is producer on the series which will film in Cork this Summer.

Peter Foott scoops Best Script at IFTAs!

Congratulations to all 2017 IFTA nominees and winners, including our own Peter Foott who scooped an IFTA for Best Script for “The Young Offenders”. Delighted for him and all the team.

Vico Films wishes all IFTA nominees the best of luck at tonight’s ceremony. We are delighted that two  Vico Films projects have garnered nine IFTA nominations. The Young Offenders has 8 nominations, including for Best Film, and History’s Future has a Best Actor nomination for Mark O’Halloran. Fingers and toes firmly crossed! Here’s to a great night for everyone.
